Rules and Regulations:
Assistants pushing Wheelchairs are allowed at no additional registration/fee. Only one registration required for both the contestant and the assistant. Only the registrant receives awards. Nothing else that may cause an accident will be allowed on the course, this includes but not limited to: bicycles, skates, skate boards, roller blades, pets, etc. Course officials will disqualify a runner or walker using or carrying any object that may cause an injury.
Spikes are not allowed.
Incomplete applications will be returned and a team space will be not be assigned to you. Incomplete applications must be resubmitted.
Water will be available at each turnaround and at the finish.
Fruit, food and drinks will be available near the finish line.
In addition breakfast will be served at the main buildling (arches) on Verano east of the start/finish. Everyone including quests at the event is invited to the food and drinks.
Each athlete will be assigned a competitor bib number, which must be pinned to the athlete’s chest and “worn as issued” (i.e., no folding, etc.) Four of the bibs will be the same color, the fifth bib will be a different color and worn by the anchor (last) team member of the relay. This is to avoid confusion at the finish. Lost bib numbers can be replaced for a $10 fee.
Chip Fee: A $20 fee per chip will be charged to any team not returning their chip(s).
Please remember that in the event as team captain you do not want your finisher’s medal your teammates may want them.
Tents are allowed.
Park autos only in Lot 1 to the west of the main building.
