Ambassador’s Plan for the 8th Annual American Hero 25k Relay
I am sending this letter asking if you would like to become an Ambassador / co-host to our American Hero 25k Relay 2018-2019. Please let me know is you would like to become one of our Ambassadors and what you think about the letter, the Plan, and the Benefits (the perks are great).
For those that want to be an Ambassador co-host to the American Hero 25k Relay please let me know & I will place you on the list. I have attached what is expected of a host and the benefits from being one. Our events support wounded vets, disabled kids and other charities. To learn more about our club and the American Hero 25k Relay go to the websites: AmericanHero25kRelay.org and FreeSpiritsTrack.org.
Who can be a host? Anyone with an interest in running: potential sponsors, advocates, coaches, athletes, therapists, folks involved with charities, event coordinators, city officials, the Spurs, athletic clubs, etc. This event already is very good for the city of San Antonio, the military and surrounding areas and is getting ready to jump start on a national level.
Our Goal eventually, hopefully next year, is to make this event a national championship and a world class event. To accomplish this we need two things: a big sponsor(s), and more runners. Ultimately, more runners will be realized, i.e. we are increasing every year since we started. We have gotten very good response with over 120,000 hits on the web. The more runners we attract the more and larger sponsors will support us. Fortunately we already have one of the finest most experienced race directors in the nation, IAAP. They have the knowledge, equipment and the manpower to successfully handle a very large event while making it a fantastic show. We also have the help and location at TX A&M-SA and its Military Affairs Office. And we are fairly well known in this area. Our summer track meets and other events have had over 100,000 runners and 125,000 friends and family over the last 50 years.
When making recommendations please mention the appropriate number or letter you are referencing. Take a couple of days to think about any change, additions, etc. and let me know. Thank you so much for your support. Let’s make this one of the city’s top events and have a heck of a good time doing it.
